The Nominations Committee of the North Carolina Association of Public-Safety Communications Officials (NC APCO) is now accepting nominations through 11:59 on January 31, 2023 for the following Board positions:
Anyone wishing to serve in any of these positions must be a Full Member of North Carolina APCO, and will also require a letter of concurrence to be completed by your direct supervisor indicating that your employer supports your service on the North Carolina APCO Board.

Nominations are currently being accepted for Region B, Region D and Region F.
Nominations will be accepted beginning January 1, 2023 through January 31, 2023. Once the nominations period has closed the Nominations Committee will seek additional information from each nominee to verify their eligibility.
Nominees will be invited to speak at the March 2023 Chapter Meeting, and online elections will open in mid-March through April 15, 2023.
Those elected will be sworn into their new positions in May 2023, during the 2023 NC Public Safety Communications Conference.
Second Vice President is a four year commitment, which will advance to First Vice President, then Chapter President, then Immediate Past President.
All other positions are two year terms.
Any Full Member of APCO International who is affiliated with the North Carolina Chapter, is currently employed by a public-safety agency, and has the support of their agency is eligible to run for office. Online and Associate members are not eligible to run for offices, but can easily upgrade their memberships to become eligible.
All Full Members of APCO International who are affiliated with the North Carolina Chapter is eligible to vote.
